Torn butt Please help grafic photo

can anyone help me please this is the second time one of my chickens looked like this the last one died. It looks like the skin on her butt has been torn off. how can I treat it and what is causing it? Thank you!

What is your roost setup?
Can birds on a lower roost reach a bird on a higher roost?

Poor thing! Can you absolutely rule out a predator? No roosting or resting near a fence?

I suppose a bird could peck one on the upper roost. I only have 3 birds this is what the roosts look like

@ChickenCanoe then. She's off line right now, can you re-arrange the roosts? I'm not an injury medical expert at all. Most injuries like this the experts advise using Blue Coat spray. I'll bump and hope someone drops in to confirm or suggest an alternative. Best of luck toy you.

I also just thought, can you absolutely rule out Fly strike? It doesn't look like that from the picture. Any injury though is very susceptible to that so you'll want to keep a close eye for flies on the wound.

I'll move the roosts around and see if that stops it
She's in the garage with blue coat on her and I gave her tetroxy in water
