Torn comb, bleeding a lot. How do I treat!??

they do bleed alot, if you have quick stop use it if not try flour to stop the bleeding then wash gently with some soapy water making sure to rinse, dry gently then apply blue-kote or neosporin or betadine she should heal fine. just watch the other chickens don't start pecking at it or she'll really be in trouble.

just make sure whatever you use doesn't have pain relief that ends in caine.

I have a white chicken that tore her comb. I have the bleeding stopped and sprayed blue kote on it which made her head purple. The other are picking at her, what can I do?

If you have the space in the coop put her in a fenced of corner or big dog crate so the flock can see her but not hurt her. That way it’ll be easier to reintegrate her when she’s healed up a little. You can put antibiotic ointment, just plain neosporin ( or generic) one once a day or spray with vetericyn
