Torn comb

Some will. I've never found it to be much of an issue personally, so long as they have enough space and there isn't any bullying happening already.

I'm not sure how much they distinguish between wounds and blood elsewhere. They'll peck at anything that looks like it might be edible.
They have a 10x13 run with a coop inside. There's only 6, so that should be enough room for them. I've never seen any of them bully really, other than a few squawk's here and there. Nothing that's ever drawn blood though. I just put her back and hung around for 15 minutes or so, but didn't see anyone going after her at her. I'll probably check in every hour or so just be sure there's no fresh blood.

However, I did notice her try to jump on top of their coop though, and I realized the chicken wire over the top is drooping some, and it's gotten low enough that I suspect she may have jumped up there before and possibly got her comb stuck. Given the tear is near the base and it looks pretty straight, not pecked or anything, I'm hoping my suspicion is right. Regardless, I moved the coop to the center of their run where there's definite head clearance in case any of them jump up there again. Fingers crossed that's the end of it. I'd hate to have the girls be that mean to each other.
