I have 20 Delaware eggs from excellent lineage, 18 BBS Orps from my own birds, and 4 measly Barred Rocks, a full turner. The Orps will all be sold, but these Dels are my foundation flock.
The rain is picking up, but not really bad yet. Certainly, I'm not worried over my hatch as much as my house, coops or our lives, but it just seems that no matter when I incubate eggs, there is always some weather drama, no matter the season.
See if you can shift the bator downstairs before it becomes a throw it down the stairs as your hurryin your own self down. Tape a pillow around your foot to keep the bumps from hurting so much.
Hope that's a small bit of helpfullness.
