Tornado Watch and 42 Special Eggs in the Bator..It's Over

I am under it too! we have a line of severe thunderstoms that will be here in about 45 min from now so if you don't see me tonight you will know that the electricity went out, they just issued a tonado warning for the county next to us.

Well, it's thundering and the chickens are under the coop. It's suddenly so muddy that DH cannot get them out because he keeps slipping and sliding so he left them, rightfully. I just unplugged the cord on my little netbook computer and it says there's over 6 hours of battery life. Cool! I hope the birds dont blow away!

It just passed here Cyn & it wasnt that bad.A little thunder & lightening. Our power dimmed but didnt got out, hopefully it will pass over you as quickly as it did here.

Wow! I'm pretty glad that we Mainers don't get tornadoes very often at all!

I would probably not leave our chickens out in the coop; would probably bring them inside!

I would be too worried.
Hang in there! I'm hoping and praying that your babies will be OK!

Good luck!

Don't forget you all with gas ovens, Gramma used to perch her babies in a wooden box and turn the oven on low and put them on the oven door with a towel over the top of the box, they did fine there...... Think ouside of the box if you have to. Good luck and may God keep you all safe!
