Hey everyone! Everything is ok here! Thanks for thinking of me! I feel loved!

I've been gone all day and was running to late this morning to log on. Sorry!

I'm tired b/c I stayed up late watching to make sure we weren't in the path. We left our bedroom window open so we could hear sirens. I woke up to the thunder/ lightning storm about 3 am. Wild weather, but no tornados here, just the storm) It was raining soooooooo hard. Seemed like the bottom fell out of the sky. I went back to sleep and woke up a little after 6 am and it was still raining.

I have been away from the TV to. Hope everyone is ok. Thinking of everyone else to.

How is everyone?

The pitch we made to tarp over the chicken run (ghetto run) slipped in one area, so I had a ton of water sagging into the run. It weighted a ton. Could kill a little birdie if it fell on them. It bent my support bar and the chicken wire that is on top of the run, so I had to take care of that before I ran off to this morning. It made me late, but I had to make sure my flock would be safe.

Im good but its rainy and yucky outside and I have a cold.

We got hit by a tornado at 2:45 am. Thank GOD I was still awake and got my family and dogs up and in a safe spot in the house. House is okay- but LOTS of damage outside. My privacy fence is gone, a big tree is on our camper, the carport is crumpled in the middle of the field. Power was out as it snapped the poles. Flipped the 4 wheeler trailer on TP of the 4 wheelers. It uprooted trees everywhere and ripped the bench seat out of the boat and slung it in the field. BUT! We are okay, the house is okay and my horses and chickens are fine. Very scary when your house starts shaking, lights are flickering and you can hear wood snapping outside.

I was on the puter!

....thankful noone was hurt........

Smitty...........so happy to hear you are all alright......... we made it through with just tons of rain and hail....... others not so fortunate........ watching the news of damage earlier

Guess it's my turn! Just got a notice that Middle TN is under a tornado watch until 1:00AM.

hope everyone makes it through okay. I've never been through that. Only heard stories from SIL in Iowa. They do come through CT once in a while but not like where you guys are. Yikes!
