I love wood chips in the run, too. I keep a good 5-6" layer. It keeps things so much cleaner, and the birds love scratching around in them. Added bonus is that once a year, enough of the chips/chicken poop, break down for good garden soil.

Thanks! I want to paint the windows, doors and nest boxes light pink and the else white. The inside will be white with a mirror with gold frame
