Would this work?

Would work for a rabbit or a guinea pig....
..guessing way too small for even one chicken, tho you haven't given the dimensions asked for.

Just from eyeballing that hutch I agree with the others, I don't think that can even hold 1 bird. You really need to get out there with a tape measure and measure the enclosed portion as well as the outer wire portion. Chickens are very social but also have a pecking order so it'd be best to get at least 2, if not 3, birds at the same time to make integration as easy as possible in a small set up.

I would never advise any one to get less than 3 chickens. For 3 birds, you need AT LEAST 12 s.f. of coop space, and 30 s.f. of run space. Your coop must have at least 1 s.f. of ventilation per bird, 1 linear foot of perch space per bird, and needs to be at least 4' tall to allow proper ventilation. Any less than that, and you are going to be dealing with stressed, possibly diseased chickens, and behavioral problems including feather picking, possibly wounding, and leading up to cannibalism of one or more members of your flock.
