Totally excited about small order..............

I ordered 5 chicks from them last year. Awesome experience. They were in transit for only 1 day. All lived to be happy egg laying machines

The only downside is their small order shipping fee. $25 - yikes!

I ordered my 7 hens from them last year (EE, BA, SLW, GLW).

I think it is worth paying the extra shipping if you only want a small amount. Mine arrived all alive and all sexed correct.

If I make another order it will have faverolle. After we placed our order last year I found the faverolles and wished so bad that I would have put them in my order.

I have my first order in with MPC too..

I read a lot of good things about there here.

I can't wait...April 12th shipping date!

I e-mailed them to see if my chicks were are reserved and they got right back to me by phone and e-mail.

I think it's going to be GREAT!

Just work closely with your Post Office...that been the worst part from what I've read...

Congrats!!! We were going to order from them last year but we changed our minds. I've heard good things, though. Stuck with Meyer. But MPC gets their birds from Cackle and Meyer I think.

I've had a few Sultans. They're great with kids. Docile, friendly, quiet, prefers confinement, and submissive. They have a tough time standing up for themselves when up against tougher birds, but from my understanding, so do Favs and Cochins. My female is really sweet and my roo was by far the friendliest, sweetest rooster I've ever had. Only complaint is that they don't do very well in free-range situations. My pullet gets lost sometimes and doesn't find her way back to the coop. They're really pretty, though.
