Hello!! I'm new to this site but also totally new to chickens! I just ordered a coop and now I need to get everything set up and find some chickens! Any help, advice and suggestions are totally welcomed and wanted by me!!!

I would suggest that you check out the Learning Center above, the best place to start your chicken education. Have you decided what breed(s) you would like to have? Do you want layers, meat birds, pets or lawn decorations? Welcome to Backyard chickens.

I'd like layer birds - I'd really like buff orphingtons and ameraucanas
I'll check out the education section! Thanks
