Hello all. My name is Lucy and I've just been transplanted from Texas via NC to New Hampshire. My family and I live on some acres in southern NH. We are interested in farming, and we're starting our livestock adventures with chickens- 6 Buckeye chicks. Until I pick them up next weekend, I'm hunkered down with BYC and my copy of Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens. Developing an interest in raising chickens distracts me from the fact that it snowed here on April 23rd. I mean, really? April???
