I seem to have an EE bantam cockerel, hatched May 15th, who's this color. He came from Cackle with five others: two black, dark blue, splash, and a pale silver (splash) cockerel.
Anyway, this first cockerel is beautiful, and i have no idea about his color inheritance.

Do you have pictures of him? Tolbunt is gold laced with recessive mottling.

Poor quality photos this week, at seven weeks of age.

He's in a mixed group of other EE bantams, Chanties, and older brown Leghorns.

And one BLR Wyandotte!

Wheaton? We've never had a wheaton cockerel of any breed, so I'm suprised by this. More pictures later, I guess. He seems to have too many white specks to me, and sadly, green legs. I do like the slate legs instead!

Yeah, wheatens have all those white specks when they’re young, the white will molt out as he gets older.

I do have two two year old EE bantam wheaton hens, who will be tree when he's ready to breed. Hoping! And the blue, black, and splash group too. Our two year old rooster seems to be sterile this year, sadly.

Another poor quality picture! He has never been popular with the ladies, but is a nice guy. No fertile eggs though.
