Toulouse Goose egg rocking

This is my daughters egg ( first hatch) How long after its rocking does it take to hatch? .I promised my daughter I would pick her up from school if anything happens even a pip. She is suppose to go to a friends house after school.

No way to tell, usually within 24 hours but no guarantees. Good luck, I want toulouse eventually.

When I hatch them, mine pip internally on day 26, pip the shell on day 27, and hatch out on day 28. Yours should probably be out by day 31.

Hi again, My Toulouse egg was rolling two days ago, Today is day 30. It has moved slightly a few time since than.Nothing like day 28!! No pip yet . Should I be worried since it was moving so much on day 28 and not so much now? Please let me know I think I have nose prints on the incubator!!

It's possible it could have been rolling like that because it was turning into hatch position. If that was the case, it wouldn't move much once it did get turned. Once it starts trying to break free, pecking at the inner shell, you'll start to see movement again.

That sounds like a reasonable explanation to me. I hope all goes well with the little one.
