I'm curious as to why the shipping is so high for a few eggs in a flat rate box.

Shipping is that price because of the packing materials. The shipping is not a flat rate box. These are large heavy eggs. It is a regular box that goes by weight and distance. I have been selling lots of eggs this year my shipping is usually $15 for 2 eggs and $17.50 for 3 to 5 eggs. Shipping is not high. They shipping is reasonable. I have to spend money on the packing materials, the packing slips, and the money to run to the post office when somebody order the eggs. I pack my eggs well, people have been getting great fertility rates and hatch rates, and I have NOT had one broken egg.

Thank you very much Champion NY. Nobody realizes all of the materials and care that goes into packing the eggs. I have not had a single egg broken or cracked this year, and I have made over 25 shipments of eggs.

Goose eggs are a lot different than chicken eggs. If you have a problem, keep it to yourself. Im not forcing you to purchase any eggs from me.

I think your prices are reasonable. And I know a lot of people are not comfortable putting BIG goose eggs in a flat rate box simply because you can't get that much cushion around them - I only do it if I have no other boxes available and ONLY if doing 3 eggs or LESS. Not to mention the price of gas to get them to the P.O.

IMVHO, if someone doesn't like your prices they can get eggs somewhere else - no need to rag on how unfair they think you are being....
