Hi y'all, thought you might like to hear about this event coming up in my community. We live in an area that up until a year ago, had a very hot real estate market. I work for the local newspaper and we publish a guide for an event called "Tour of Homes". This event was a tour of many different extraordinary homes, promoted by the real estate community.
Well, since raising your own chickens has become so popular this last couple of years, one of the locals decided to host a "Tour de Coups". There are 18 different stops on the tour, visiting all kinds of backyard and farm chicken setups. There is a booklet with map published and tour attendees pay a fee for the map. All fees go to support 3 worthwhile communities charities. I am very excited to say that my coop in my urban backyard is on the tour! The date is May 8th and I will post another message post tour to let everyone know how it went. I think it is a great idea and wanted to share it with you!
