TOWN OF CALEDON, ONTARIO- BYLAW ISSUES

We live in a rural residential area and recently had a bylaw visit saying our 4 chickens were attracting 'wildlife'.
Laws are somewhat vague but zoning said we may have to apply for a variance. Wondering if any others in Caledon have dealt on this issue?
