Yikes about this whole Toyota Recall! We're worried because we're currently renting a Toyota Corolla (2010) which is in the recall for Canada. We spoke to Enterprise and they said that they haven't been told that this particular car is in recall and we've heard nothing since but it is concerning.

Anyone else dealing with the recall?

We don't own the vehicle and as far as I can tell its a voluntary recall, ie, if you find you're dealing with the sticking problem you have to pay for it -- Toyota doesn't. But it's concerning regardless considering we're renting this car and the rental agency has done nothing except say "we don't know." We're renting because I was in a car accident in our truck last month and the truck is in for its 3rd trip to Carstar.

Check the Toyota website for the most recent updates. It's all pretty shocking here, because dealers are not even allowed to sell a new one right now! And NO rentals of them allowed right now either.

We got a call from Enterprise today, they want us to bring back the Corolla tomorrow (Saturday) and exchange for a different car. Really annoying though because we have to go back on Tuesday anyway, so we're making an extra trip with only $90 to use for gas until Feb 10th. Eeks.

I would demand a fuel allowance for the extra round trip you have to make to return the car. It's not your fault or problem that you have to take the car back. Tell them to get their money back from Toyota.

Geez, Honda too? Hmm I may have to look that up on what models it's on because Enterprise has Honda cars too and I don't want a car thats in a current recall.

I'm really missin' my F-150 now lol It's in the shop until Tuesday for more damage that Carstar missing after my accident, big stuff too! One of the problems could have killed me!
