On a mailing group I'm a part of, someone mentioned how they bought a feather duster for their quails and they LOVE snuggling into them... She said that sometimes all she'll see is just a little foot poking out of the duster

It apparently works really well for solo quail, too.

Since I read about this, I was wondering if there are any other toys that quails really like? I'm a habitual animal spoiler and like to make sure that my animals are super happy and spoiled rotten xP

I found that small mirrors, like the kind for parakeets, put in the brooder at eye level for the baby quail were quite entertaining for them. The quail were sure there were more quail behind that mirror. LOL I took a mirror out of my parrots cage with these attached beads around the mirror and the quail just loved rolling those beads around the wire they were attached to.

I also put these tiny plastic bell like things in with the babies. Nothing they could be their toes caught in however. I would see the babies push these around the brooder also.

As far as adult quail, they love to hide in branches. Nibble on them too. I don't think adult quail will play much with things. But you never know!
