So, on some of our brutally cold winter Wisconsin days, we keep everyone inside the coop; all 27! I’m sure it gets boring in there. What are some things we can put in there for them to keep them occupied?

Here's the type I usually get: https://www.amazon.com/Happy-Hen-Treats-6-Ounce-Square-Mealworm/dp/B01MY9QWYZ but there's different sizes and ingredients available. I put it in a suet cage and hang it out for a couple hours for the birds to pick at.

I'm not keen on using treats as enrichment but for short term use it won't make too much impact on their nutritional intake.
To add on to this, I think they also sell really big flock blocks for large flocks also.

I’ve heard that tying leafy branches, lettuce, apples (etc) to string and hanging them within chicken reach around the coop is good enrichment, but my hens ignore whatever I give them.

Also, something for them to climb on?
