I hears sometimes when chicks or chickens get bored they start fightimg with eachother, my chicks are almost ready to go outside so their getting a bit more antsy and sometimes flapping and jumping on eachother. Are there toys or other things i can give them to keep them entertained enough until they go outiside? a ball or other pet toys that chickens play with?

Play fighting is a normal activity and part of developing the pecking order. Perches they can fly up on are generally liked. I'd get them outside as soon as is possible so that they have more room.

Welcome to BYC. Where, in general, are you? Climate matters. :)

Space and the ability to do chicken stuff like perching, scratching, dust bathing, etc. are the best "toys" for chickens.

How old are they? Is your coop ready for them?
They are four weeks old going on 5 and they live in the southern area of Texas. The weather is usually super hot during spring and summer, but since the rain it's been kinda cold. So I haven't been able to let them out, they don't have all their feathers yet.

Can you run an extension cord and a heat source out there for them?

not sure. I purchased a big runner for them and made a few DIY fixes so the rain and wind don't bother them when they transfer to the outside. The runner i got has more than enough room for them to keep themselves occupied and move around, in the mean time i have to keep them inside and entertained. I only have two of them. both females.

Photos? If they're mostly feathered and it's in the 50's or 60s you can start acclimating them to the outdoors.

They are black australorp chick's 4 weeks. One is getting more feathers than the other faster, so I wasn't sure if I could take them out, I didn't want them to get a chill from the cold and get sick. But I did read that australorps are more hardy resistant to hot and cold temperatures. That's why I got this breed.

I love Australorps!

They have plenty of feathers. My Blue Australorp crosses went out to the coop at just under 4 weeks when I caught them sleeping in the corner of my outdoor brooder instead of anywhere near their heat plate. :)

As long as they are out of the wind they'll be fine. In fact, in your area, as in mine, heat is more dangerous to them than cold. Have they had any opportunity to acclimate to having no heat source?

BTW, if you put your general location into your profile people will be able to give better-targeted advice for many questions.

I bought them a chicken coop house they can go in thats also inside the run where they are sheltered from all the wind, and plenty tarp coverings they can go behind. The whole runner is fenced in with chicken wire and water and tear proof tarps to shield them from the weather and keep preditors out, the only things that aren't covered is the door leading into the run and the section near the top to help ventilation pass through like someone else suggested for me to do.
