I created an excel sheet to track egg production of my flock. I am doing a daily log and have the amount of sunlight as well as moon cycle added in. I am just doing it for fun... but it will be interesting to see how it looks after a while.

Anyone have other ideas or already existing tracking sheets?

I think it adds to the fun to know what's going on. There is an old saying from business 'if you can measure it, you can mange it'.

Have you ever looked at www.eggzy.net ? it is were I enter my eggs, they do the stats for eggs per week, etc. It's pretty interesting. I have some screen shots of eggzy screens in my blog (access link in signature) if you want to check it out and get some ideas.

I only wish that there was a way to suspend the calculations for a broody hen so her batting average of eggs-per-week doesn't plummet. Maybe I will ask them about that. LOL

Just sounds like a great idea to me to track eggs.

This is mine I have been working on. Take a look and see what you can change to it that will suit your needs. If you have on maybe you can share with me and others to see what direction you are going in and you may give us ideas for ours. Thank you.

P.S. Mine was based off another person's that had made it available to everyone. I used it as a jumping off point.
