Tracking feed and water useage?

What all should I track to help me maintain the health of the flock. I have read that knowing and seeing changes in habits can help diagnose health issues.

You'll probably find it becomes second nature to track it - you don't need some super dooper tool or program. When you find yourself filling the feeder and/or waterer more or less often than usual....you'll notice.
