tractor questions ??????

You can check out my personal page or go to my website and look at "Housing" to see more and even how we built the bigger tractors. I built the smaller tractors by myself so you can imagine how simple they can be and so far the predators aren't getting the birds. We have foxes and raccoons come up at night and I am not saying they won't eventually get under them but they will have to dig and get through a few barriers.

I think the campground used to be on rte 40 and had horses you could rent - it is gone - the only place for camping in this area anymore is at Lums Pond State Park - everything else is a store or houses.

I like the blue and yellow one and the one thats blue with the pvc roofing
I will show them to DH .
I want them for isolation pens or breeding when I want to get a specific outcome for the egg so they will work good for that .

It is your tractor, you can design and make it any way you like.

That is the beauty of it all - the chickens aren't picky and you can create whatever design you like so long as the chickens have the basics that they need.

Happy designing!!! p.s. Our tractor has an attached roost/coop and feed/watering station - I just don't have any pictures at the moment.

I also like the hoop idea - but plan on using it for our new chicken runs/yard as an easy inexpensive way to add on to our chicken house.

Lots of different types - just want to make sure everyone is safe in the tractor as they are in the coop - those pesky predators luv chicken .
