Tractor Supply Chick Days 2018

here are 2 chicks I hatched, that were 2 weeks diff age wise, up to about 2 weeks you can still mix them, I have mixed 3 weeks diff before, this is how I do it... give them one on one sessions with each other, taking turns with the chicks, the blue chick to the back was the smallest and the calmest of his bunch, start with those. eventually I had all the birds together. If the birds are 3 weeks older, introduce in a small dark box. They get to hear each other but no pecking will happen.

You guys need to come to the feed store I work at... we have sex links, novogen, brahma (buff, light, dark, bantam), Wyandotte (blue laced red, blue, silver, gold), copper maran, Olive egger, ameracauna/Easter egger, Cornish, freedom ranger, amber white, blue langshan, Delaware, barred rock, partridge rock, blue and black Andalusian, leghorn (brown and white), Rhode Island Reds, New Hampshire, Speckled Sussex, sebright, silkie, Norwegian jaerhon, Russian orloff... and I’m missing naming a few!

Totally drooling! What feed store do you work at?

I’m in Oregon. I’ll even put them on reserve for you so no one else can buy them. Or custom order you rarer ones!

I scrub and disinfect waterers daily and make fresh electrolyte water. I raise up waterers so they don’t get filled with bedding. Feeders get poop wiped off the outside but they always poop on them like 3 minutes later. I clean out all soiled bedding daily and any splay leg or poopy bum go to the back room where I attempt to fix them up.

I’ve had many people comment they’re so happy with the care our store’s chicks are getting.

Yes I love to see that too. Sadly I'm in Wisconsin. I think we will probably have to order them ourselves. Lol

Our local farm and fleet does really great working with cackle to make orders etc. This year though they really cut back the options. They are also awesome with their chicks.
