About 7 weeks old. Came from the assorted bantam bin. Optimistic its not a roo because i cant have them in my area. Any ideas on what i have though?

Take the chick and put it in one hand and with the other hand spread out a wing.... if your chick has two layers (probably does), check the bottom layer of feathers for a “break” in the feather row or a “missing” feather in the row.... if it has a “missing” one it’s a roo if not ur in luck it’s a hen

In order to sexed a chicken by it's wing feathers it needs to be no less than a week old, and has to be a certain breed where the pullets develop much faster than the cockerels
Buttttt I have bantams and I sex them right when they hatch and have almost a 90% success rate.... not being sassy just saying
