Tractor supply Chicks... Breed?

TSC I think now puts up a fence between u and the chicks. My TSC won't let you touch the chicks until you pay for them. But sometimes the workers might throw the chicks in the wrong bin. My TSC had a bin full of EE pullets. But there was also a chick that looked like it wasn't supposed to be in there. It looked like a buff Orpington. When I bought my chicks a got that one because I really wanted a buff. So I got it. Anyway you don't always know for sure, but they do turned out lovely.
We do that very regularly if say there are 9 of one breed left and someone buys 6-8 we will take the remaining bird/birds and put it with a different breed so it is not in a tank alone.

True. But,I don't think it stops them.My TSC has a fence, but you can jump it or even reach and grab chicks...
We had a young girl come walking up to an employee and say "This bird looks sick." Sometimes it doesn't matter how big the Do Not Enter sign is, someone will always enter.

TSC uses 6-7 different hatcheries. Of those 6-7 hatcheries there is quite an extensive list of breeds that each hatchery breeds. There's something close to 40-50 potential breeds then you have to consider bantam and LF varieties then you have to consider how good each of the 6-7 hatcheries stock is. This week it could be PERFECT EE stock from Hatchery A and next week it could be barely muffed birds from Hatchery B. All depends.

Hi Yesterday I bought 13 chicks at TSC and 7 Ducklings. I would like to find out the breeds. I kind of have an idea but not completely sure... I believe that I have Blue Orpingtons, A Golden Laxed Wyandotte, White rocks, A buff cochin, and not sure of the rest 3 of the blue are standard size and 3 are bantams.

The blue and black swedish are some of my personal favorites and the khakis are supposed to be amazing egg layers. If in fact you have swedish, khaki cambells, a red layer of some sort and whatever else you will be up to your neck in eggs in no time.
