Tractor supply chicks?

I've been to our local tractor supply in years past where every march they are selling chicks of various breeds. Is this ok to buy from, or are there other better ways to get chicks? Also, are there places where you can get (I forgot the term) chicks that are a couple of months old?

I got my chicks two years ago and they turned out great. I think they are a great alternative to buying 25. I won't buy from the bantam bin again because I got 2 out of 3 that were Roos.
