So I got a killer deal at Tractor supply on Cornish X. Already 3 weeks old and $1 each. Out in the yard they go and we're a weak it and everyone has been really hardy.
However, I just found out TSC switched to Hoover Hatchery for their chicks and I've never heard of them or got birds from them before.
I've had up and down results with Cornish no matter how well I feed them, the stock is so important to how they go and what weights to expect when. Of course this affects cost and my sanity! lol
Anways, anyone with experience with these cornish from that hatchery? How hardy to they end up? Leg heart issue? Average finish weight? When do you butcher?
Thanks for any help, just trying to schedule this out and figure out my final cost per bird. Hoping for better then the last group I got last year. Won't be buying those again!
