Tractor supply Marans and others?

What variety of Maran are tractor supplys? I bought 5 straight run and want some dark egg layers. I don’t think any of feathered legs but they are black legs with yellow feet. I will post pictures. Also my “Sienna Stars” all 4 look like different breeds.

That's not a Marans.

I assume Sienna Star is a sex link. Not sure how they can be straight run. If so I'd be nervous about spot on head.

The sienna star were all supposed to be pullets. Also so what’s the Marans if they’re not marans

Depending on your TSC but most get their chicks from Hoovers Hatchery. If that is the case the following should be true.

The Sienna stars are sex linked. Males are yellow Girls are more reddish brown. You may have a couple of both. I'm not sure how many pictures of each chick you took but the yellow one at the beginning is a boy.

I wouldn't expect dark eggs from them. You need french black copper marans for that.

No idea. Australorps are also white feet, same as Marans. What's a black bird with yellow skin? Jersey Giant maybe?

Probably just regular brown eggs. We have cuckoo marans from Hoovers and they lay just a grocery store brown egg. It will be darker then the stars though since they lay cream eggs.

A couple of those look a lot like this RIR/production red I got from TSC.

Can’t get the last photo to upload, but she feathered out all dark red, no variation.
