I know pine is bad for rabbits but does anyone know if the pine shavings at Tsc are kiln dried? I read somewhere that they are. Also is pine or straw a better bedding for rabbits? The rabbit will be litter trained so i don't care about the absorbency/odor control

thanks in advance!

My first pick is always hay if that is unavailable I would go with straw and avoid pine at all cost if you absolutely have to use something I would go with that paper bedding from pet smart if you can’t get hay or straw

thanks guys! TSC has the large bale of straw for like 12 bucks so I'll use that, thanks for your help!

straw carries mites, and rabbits are very susceptible to ear mites. stick with hay for rabbits
