I go "by the book" but they take one look at me and fall over dead! Now chickens, ducks, guineas, and peacocks I can do! Those itty bitty eggs scare me! Sorry

They are wickless. You can use a electric melting pot or a "tart burner" that uses a tea light candle. Alot of people use the electric warmers because they like the candle scents but don't want to worry about a flame!
Heres a "tart warmer" that plugs into the wall... (No flame)

And heres one you put a tart in the top in the bowl....and a tealight candle in the bottom!

I hope that helps!

Ok now another question...
Do they just melt and disappear or do you have to clean out the left over wax from the burner things? Going to look for one of those burner things ASAP!

I have Silkie eggs and Serama eggs. There are photos of both on my web page. I would love to swap if you don't mind a little wait since I currently only have one pair of each laying.

They don't melt away. But its easy to get the wax out when you want to change it. You just let the wax get hard and then turn the burner back on. After about a minute it will pop loose and come right out! Then you just take a paper towel and wipe out the bowl quickly and put another tart in.
