That's awesome! Congrats on all your new chicks! I'd love to hear updates as they feather out and start finding out the sex of them all.

OMG, I did not evenknow Trader Joe sold such a thing!!!! I don't shop there as it is anhour away. Can you put those eggs under a broody???For those of you interested in the Trader Joe’s fertile eggs and whether you can actually hatch chicks from them, I have 10 out of a dozen that have made it to lockdown!
I’m sure you could but I’d definitely let them come to room temperature before I gave them to a broody.OMG, I did not evenknow Trader Joe sold such a thing!!!! I don't shop there as it is anhour away. Can you put those eggs under a broody???
These are the ones I got!Which brand eggs did you buy at Trader Joe’s? I may have to throw some in my new incubator…. Picture of the carton would be awesome if you have one.
I suspect these chicks to be leghorns and I read somewhere that leghorns can be feather sexed (fast growing versus slow growing) not sure how true that is but if that’s the case then it appears I have 3 hens and 2 Roos. Three of the chicks have really long wing feathers and are already getting tail feathers while the other two have little stubby wings still and no tail feathersI wonder if they will be all hens. excited to see what happens
