Hi I’m hatching 3 Trader Joe’s fertile white eggs using a DIY incubator with a temperature controller a humidity gauge. I set total four 9-10 days old eggs and 3 made it to today. Will be day 21 around midnight . I know store eggs take longer to hatch so I think maybe Tuesday if things go well.
And I always candle, my curiosity always wins:rolleyes:. So here goes the candling pictures today.

Questions for the knowledgeable members here, and I know there are a lot of you here. I’m still very new to this forum and chicken egg hatching.

Q1: Egg 1 air cell. First 2 pictures. What’s this strange looking shape? Is the chick malpositioned?
Q2: Egg 2. Is this an internal pip or rather, just about to internal pip?

I saw both chicks move upon candling.

Thanks in advance.

I do lockdown on Day 17/18 and never candle them beyond that unless they don't hatch by Day 22.

If they're moving on Day 21, I wouldn't worry about the air cell now. Humidity should be up around 70% and keep the incubator closed so you don't risk shrink-wrapping any that may hatch.

Sorry, I can't tell if that's an internal pip or not, but I'm just worried you have these eggs out the day they could be hatching.

Best wishes for a successful hatch!!
