Hello. For my daughters science project we bought 2 dozen Trader Joes fertile chicken eggs and 14 hatched in our incubator!! I've never had chickens before! I was hoping for 1 or 2!! 14 is kind of a lot! I've been reading like crazy everything chickens! I have no clue what type they could be. I got some really good tips on what to keep them in until they're big enough to go outside. I'm excited to see how it turns out!

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your 14 new babies :celebrate Incubating and hatching is such a fantastic experience, something I enjoy very much in fact probably too much! Thank you everyone for you comments and help!!! They mostly look alike but some have black markings. I'm not sure where Trader Joes gets their fertile chicken eggs from. I will definitely post pictures when they are bigger to get opinions on the breed & gender. Thanks again!
