trading chickens for quail???

A project for the hole family. I had my friend's little kid using zip ties to tag roosters when he was only 3.

Haha I've got a 3 year old... She likes the chickens till they get to about 4 weeks old then she says "they hurt my arm mommy" lol she always likes the quail when I have them inside BC they always fly out of my hand and around the house lol I make her go in there pen too since its only 4 1/2 ft high (I know child labor right)

I can see why it hurts her arm. Don't you just have it when you walk up to a pen, stick your hand in and get pecked or spurred on a cold morning?

Haha yeahs that's funny you said that! This morning I went to do all my "animal rounds" and one of my roo RIR got me when I went grab his water! Made myself a mental note to eat him when he's a little bigger lol

I have a game banny that will spur anything that won't bite him first.

Are game birds more aggressive in general? I get that impression

 

[Robo]

Yes, they have more wild in them. Every game bird I own except for coturnix is aggressive to some extent.
