I didn't know the family at all. I've had both boys in class recently and they were quiet and well behaved. My heart is breaking for my friends at work as well who are having to cope with this.
Hug your kids today, HARD!
We do have at least two Ashford residents as members of BYC. One is especially on my mind because she has kids in the school who probably knew little Chris and know his brother.

I feel for the boy, his mom, the boys siblings, the community, his friends and teachers etc. But I feel nothing for the father.

All I can think is Thank the powers that be that he didnt loose control of the weapon and end up firing at other attendees. One senseless death is more than enough in this case. And with luck some good will come of it.

May all of our prayers go out to all involved and God's wisdom guide the rest of our thoughts and opinions.

We all have our opinions here but out of respect for the child and the OP I ask
that people refrain from political opinions or just shut up. This is not a gun debate.
