Trailer for hauling to show?

They do carry fully enclosed box trailers but I agree about the josling. The OP said this would take place this fall....so I think the temps would be okay.

I think the previous poster who suggested the cargo van is right on! Those big 15 passenger vans have air conditioning, lots of windows or solid panels if you prefer, and will get about 18mpg. Fall temps in the Midwest can be as hot, if not hotter than summer! Please take that into consideration.

Cetawin,

Could you post pics of these battery operated fans, please? How many did you use.

For the Van advocates, how many birds do you suppose would fit in one of those big vans, and do the rental companies have vans that don't have rows and rows of seats? A rough estimate would put the number of adult birds (almost all standards) around 50 and at least that many juveniles as well, so I need plenty of room. Plus feed, water buckets, etc.

For battery operated fans, and also battery operated lights, I go to walmart. I know walmart is the devil, but I have found myself tucking tail and going more than once. the fans are down the infamous fan isle, and the smaller ones made of plastic usually have battery options. Also, if you go battery lighting, anything with an LED light sucks way less juice than the older style bulbs. Lastly, If you go to the automotive isle, they make this converter that clamps onto a car battery and has a cigarrette lighter plug, so you can find those fans that go inside cars( they look like a regular fan with a clamp on the end) and it comes with a cigarrette lighter plug, and use an extra car battery as a power source, also, go to a specialty automotive part place, ( in louisiana its auto zone, or orieliey's) and get a splitter that turns one cigarrette lighter plug into 4 or 6, that way you can use one car battery and power multiple fans or lights or whatever else you want.
