Trained Chickens

I have a BR and I will sit down and pat on my legs and she always comes and jumps up on my lap and goes to sleep and i can hold out my arm and do that too.

Yes, clicker training was originally invented with chickens, I've heard

Chicken Agility Training Camp

Mine have trained me to hold a piece of bread out so they can jump up and take it from my hand. They are usually pretty nice about not biting my hand but every now and then they get me instead of the bread. Boss, the RIR rooster, doesn't usually participate. He just likes to see the hens getting their treats. Today he decided to jump but I had to hold the bread closer to the ground for him. Then he just couldn't resist. They are a lot of fun.

My two biggest birds know they aren't allowed in the small fenced area outside the back door. If they wander in (because the cat opened the gate again) I just say "Shoo, shoo, shoo," in a conversational voice and they go back out.
