Training crate issues?

I love crating the dogs. It's a great system.

He looks so, um... what's the word I'm looking for here (only in gritsar's thread...) "without a care". So safe and happy there.

Awwww - I love the crate method works wonderful. both my dogs love their crates and go in by themselves at night - only took me 3 days to get my new puppy to adjust to it. ok she usually is half in and half out but hey!

What a goof!

He looks very content! It's a good thing he sleeps in his crate and not in your bed. You would end up with one of those big feet in your mouth during the night!
My dogs love their crates too and I keep the doors open for them to come and go. They each have a secret stache of goodies hidden in them. Their next favorite thing is to roll on the clean bedding fresh from the dryer. They can't wait for me to put their blankies back in their crates so they can start rolling and acting silly.

Crate-training is a must! It sure helps if they have to travel, go to the vet, etc.

I have open crates with their toys, comfy pillows, etc., and they love them! It's the first place they run with a treat or coveted toy.

I wore Jax out yesterday. Two long walks and he followed me everywhere as I mowed the lawn.
By 10 PM, he walked in his crate and passed out. Woke up long enough to say hey to "Daddy" when he got home and went right back to his crate for the night.
