Trama to my flock.

This afternoon while my ladies and their rooster were out and about, one of the neighborhood dogs got loose and reaked havoc. My rooster J.J. was killed and several of my hens have huge lumps on their chests. THere aren't any cuts or wounds but the neighbors said that the dog did pin them. when you hold them it actually feels like a water baloon on them chests. I think I remember seeing in one of the posts that when hens are tramatized they either stop laying or the first few eggs are spoiled??? Not real sure if I read that or someone told me. IS IT TRUE? and what should I do?
