I would check the dead chick and the others for any pasty butt, stuck on poop on vents. While trampling may have been the cause, there could have been an issue from shipping that just showed up. Good luck with the others.

That was actually my first thought. I didn't see any though. The possibility of that scared me enough with our layers. Can't save them all though, but I'm still going to get the Nutridrench to keep in hand. Actually, if there's any other stuff like that you think we should have please let me know. None of the first time type posts ever mentioned it.
