Trampoline runs

Tested the 1.5 PVC over a Tpost....fit perfectly.
Sounds like you're going with the 2" PVC....
..which might be a much easier install,
than pounding Tposts in perfect pattern to match tramp frame.

Looking forward to watching this build, hope you document it here.

Well, this is where I’m at this morning: I’ve used foam locktite to seal the trampoline together. The legs are on it just to put it up to a comfortable height. Once that sets, I’m going to scrape off the excess and get started on the run legs.

Update on my run. I've painted the aluminum, added half of the PVC legs. I've decided that I'm going to do cross bars for stability, along with the feet, so I've got T intersections for the PVC. I've also started the wire and identified which panel will be a door, at some point. My next step, before I add the rest of the legs, is to get some wire over the top, which has been a bit of a challenge. I'm worried about the weight and didn't really want to put a tent pole in the middle of the run. This past winter, my small section of run almost collapsed with the weight of the snow on it.

Aright she’s up high now. Gotta finish the wire, get the middle supported and the get the zip tie ends. I have to glue the legs together and paint them, get the cross bars on, and build a door and then I can get the babies in. Later I will figure out the chicken tunnel to connect the two runs.

Got some more work done today. Finished the wire around the run, but it still needs to be fastened to the poles and cross bars. I also need to fashion a door and do the skirt, but the babies are hanging out for now. They won’t be in it overnight until it’s done. The red thing is their brooder. We brought them outside in it.

I've recently been using a redundant 12' trampoline as a temporary run, with scaffolding netting round the sides, hooked and pinned on construction rebars pushed into the ground. It's too low to walk in but I can get in and around under the canvas if I have to, though that rarely happened. It's mobile like my coop, so I was able to move everything to a new area after a week when the grass needed it; it cost next to nothing; the canvas protected the hens from the goshawk who inhabits these parts; and the floppy flappy netting worked as per theory to keep the hens in and deter foxes etc. who apparently fear getting caught in it. So I'm v happy with it. Now those hens are trained and fully free ranging, I plan to use it again to integrate some new members of the flock who are currently in quarantine.

I have something similar that I use something very similar for our chickens run while I am at work. It does work well until you need to get under.
