Trangender chicken!

One of our hen started crowing a few days ago!! she is over a year old!! I was reading that some hens can get this male like traits if the flock doesn’t have a rooster. I’m not allowed to have roosters here in the city. Have you ever have this kind of gender switch!???

It's not a gender switch. It's a crowing hen. I have one too. She crows every morning and lays every afternoon.

I have a hen who crows and lays eggs. She does't crow everyday, but we know who it is because we have caught her in the act.
She has this funky little crow, like "Cock-a-doo-doo"
No one has complained so far so I guess the crowing hen is not a problem, like the crowing rooster was.
