Transferred to the coop today!

That's good to know. yes, they are quite funny. Whenever I feed them out of my hand, they are starting to make these half "clucking" sounds. They still make the little baby peeping sounds, though. The one RIR opens her mouth and holds it open for like two seconds, but nothing comes out. I'm not sure if she is trying to talk. Do hens yawn? At any rate, they are very funny.

You should look for a used 6 foot high dog kennel. I lucked up and found a 10x20 for $100.00. You can usually find one on craigslist pretty easy or advertise looking for one. Just make sure you find one with individual panels so you can make it bigger if you need to by finding another kennel. I currently have my 7 week olds in my old 10x10 dog kennel. It already had a big wooden dog house that I put hay in for them to sleep. It works great for now while I make the plans for my mobile chicken coop. The chicken coop will be backed up to the larger kennel when it is ready.
