Transferring my chickens into coop and fire hazard

When my chicks are in their brooder, I have a miniature roost. I noticed the last time I hatched and had it in there, they got used to hopping up there. The same issue of getting them to return to the coop. Often I was out there shooing them into the coop. Just mot too smart about that. They figured how to leave the coop!
I may, place the mini roosts in the coop when thier transfered.

I have a mini roost too, just a short dowel between two wide scrap pieces of wood. Easy to move around but stable enough that chickens feel secure using it. I use it for everything from providing a roost for a broody breaker to training young birds to roost.
