I have a 3.5 week old guinea keet and his adopted sister, a 6 week old EE, in a heated brooder in an unheated room. Our outside temps are ranging from high thirties to high sixties. They will have their own 15 sq ft coop and 64 sq ft run. Any advice on how and when to make the switch? The room they're in runs about 55-60 degrees.

I would wait till they are about 6 weeks old then turn the heat off in the brooder. Let them adjust to room temp for a couple weeks. If they are doing fine and your weather is good let them outside in a protected area for a few hours each day. When 3 months old leave them outside if it's not too cold. If they are huddling in one corner all fluffed you'll know it's too cold for them. T
