You could be right txc, but I still can't tell for certain. A few weeks from now will tell the tale, and I have no problem putting a nice fryer or two in the freezer.

The feed store has their chicks in now, several hundred in five or six varieties, all sexed pullets; and I am sorely tempted to go get 2 chicks and put them in the brooder, but I won't set myself up for a fall by breaking the local ordinance that limits us to only five birds. Time will tell, and things will be as they should...
