Transport to the processor-make a crate?

No higher than 12", better if it is 8". Our pheasant boxes see a lot of duty transporting birds of all kinds. These are 2'x2'x8". Top load door (10"x10"), and a side load-out door. (24"x8").

I used old cardbouard boxes. Best of luck!

My hubby made a large crate using a poly tank that they use for ag chemicals. They usually have a wire cage around the outside. He cut a hole for a door in the side and made a door with a hinge on it. He made it for me to haul goats. I have fit 3 full size goats with plenty of room to move. When we were processing our first meaties we did them at the neighbors house. We put the crate on a small trailer that has a tilt, we got the feed bucket that we fed them with. They saw that and came running and loaded themselves. I felt bad, but it was way easier than I thought. It was a hot day, so we drilled a bunch of holes for air circulation. We now use it all the time to transport birds.
