transporting 3 adult runners, and introducing them.

Defiantly! And no snapping turtle allowed!
MY........Aren't You the funny Duckling tonight ! LMAO :lau
its not that hard really, pull the drain a couple times a year and clean house. takes a few days to fill back up, but it lets you get right in there and make sure there aren't any turtles.

I am referring to a pond big and deep enough not to need a drain. It would be able to support its own ecosystem. :)

Everyone was laying down when I just spied via camera, I have to put a piece or tape over the light on the thing because it made them jump up and get alarmed. The white runner took a drink, they are terribly timid so they don’t get in on the evening peas that our other ducks go wild over and the others wouldn’t let them near the pea bowls when they were interested. The 5 we had would eat from one with no problems. I divided up int 2 dishes in hopes the runners would get some but they didn’t try hard and were pecked at if they tried. You can see the water bowl in the corner there and the tube feeders are on the wall with the camera either side of the door. I just hope our others will let them eat if they try, so far I see no evidence they have tried to eat duck feed, not sure how much they managed to get eaten from their foraging today, they were on the lawn so forage may be thin. I’m worrying now about them getting enough to eat. They have food available all the time but they don’t seem to eat it and our others will empty the bowl during the day. I figure if I put out lots more they will just eat more , get fat and the runners still won’t get any.
I just keep thinking how they must be feeling and it makes me sad, I wish our guys would be nice, hopefully the night helps some. I assume eventually they will become a flock, in the mean time we have these poor little long necks orphans 😥

It’s going to take patience. For one thing they are Runners they are flighty any way. So just do things around them and let them work it out as far as getting comfortable around y’all. Try a warm mash for them. Do you know what they fed them? My ducks love fermented feed you don’t have to do this but mine tend to like moistened better than dry.

DO tell.
I ferment my own vegetables, how do you make fermented feed?
