Transporting ducks

I have about 5 khaki campbell drakes that are going away on the 20th but need a way to transport them. They'll be about 13-14 weeks old. I've never had to do this before so I wanted to make sure I got the right transporter as well as information on what to do before there culled. I know I have to separate them the day before. But what about food? Water? Etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I put mine in the dogs crate. It has a pull out plastic bottom. Put them in the back of the pickup. Cover with a beach towel and bungee them down.
